I am going to post a comment over here, on my frequently unread blog. My wife told me to tell you that she reads my blog.
Does anyone know the words to "the Rose?"

OK, this is at least as best as I can remember:
"Some say love, it is hmm hmm,
That hmms the winter hmm.
Some say love, it is a hmm hmm,
That hmms the bitter trees.
But I say love, it is a hmm hmm,
That cannot sing to lid.
Hmm hmm love, hmm hmm a fountain,
That in the spring becomes a rose."
I sang that song at Jumonville, during Athletic Camp in 1980,81, and 82. It was a talent show, and that was my talent. It was between The Rose, or Memories by Bread. Was anyone there besides me? Greg was'nt he was just a baby back then. Wait, I think Tracey was there?!?! (I was her friend 1st!)
....wait, you must not have been Tracey's friend because if you really were, you would never have introduced her to Greg.
BTW, did you win the show?
Barb, Barb, Barb, yes I was there. Are you sure it wasn't "If" by bread? Ya know, If a picture paints a thousand words then why can't I paint you...dah, dah, dah, da, da - everyone sing.
Nice try Brett - but everyone knows it goes like this,
Some say love.....it is a hmmm hmmm. The pauses are very important.
Do you people have nothing else to do???? hee-hee, Tracy
~Still laughing~
And
Tracey...I hang my head in shame forgetting that the song is called, "if"~
And Brett, dont think I didnt have my share of comments for the pair of them!
Ok - I'm now going to add "If" to my list of songs that I can't stand because some off-key teenager tried to sing it in a youth sunday service!
I have two words for all of you, "MMM Bop" Go ahead-get that out of your head now.
Tracy
If a picture paints a thousand words, then why can't I paint you? The hmm hmmm hmmm hmmm hmmm, hmmmm, hmmm hmmm hmm hmmmmmm.
If a hmmm....
Oh Tracy that is priceless...now that is in my head. But I'd love to put that goofy song that is on that toy I gave Bekkah for her birthday, do you remember?
If I knew the words to that song, I'd be too embarrassed to admit it!
